VISION
To deliver world class evidence-based and culturally relevant solutions driven by collaborative research to people living with Autism and Neurodevelopmental disorders, their care givers and families in Nigeria.

MISSION
The center will connect largely to the university vision by providing relevant education and support for all stakeholders in the field of Autism and Neurodevelopmental disorders and by undertaking important research into further understanding and interventions of these conditions within this environment.
The center will be a resource for best practices in intervention, training and research into the nature as well as the epidemiology of Neuro-developmental disorders in Nigeria.

THE GOALS/OUTCOME OF THE CENTRE
CAND-DO will combine clinical excellence with innovative research. It will provide services and resources for individuals with autism and related neuro-developmental disorders. Outcome will be determined using measurable applicable bio-psycho-social indicators in subjects who could be persons with neurodevelopmental disorders, care-givers, other persons and institutions that could be the focus of study or intervention.

OBJECTIVE
The main objective of CAND-DO is to conduct innovative research, provide training and services in the field of Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
