In recognition of the importance of Research Management Office in leapfrogging current university research, it was imperative that a dedicated Research Management Office (RMO) be established to not only promote multidisciplinary research but to manage funded research using unique and innovative approaches in delivering her mandate. The Research Management Office(RMO), which is under the Office of the Deputy Vice-chancellor (Academics & Research) has long been conceptualized but was eventually activated in 2013 as Research and Innovation(R&I) Office transposed to Research Management Office (RMO). The RMO Office is primarily composed of academics to fast-track research advancement processes through peer-to-peer engagements as well as support from Administration and the Bursary.
